Community Workshops

I design and facilitate many art making and creative communication workshops in various communities, some of which have included schools, universities, companies, government, civic, religious, cultural, non and for-profit organizations.

I lead a very successful and lively series with powerful measurable results specifically designed for smaller companies or groups who are seeking an engaging and dynamic approach to strengthen morale, team work, production, and creative communication.

Sharing different perceptions of the same art theme enables participants to grasp alternative ways of seeing, thus promoting the idea that there are multiple solutions to any problem and more than one answer to a question. In a world far too often filled with apathy there is no substitute for the experience of creating and viewing art for the promotion of empathy, tolerance and team-building. My workshops are designed to engage the whole person in an experience of unusual depth and delight with tangible, layered, and measurable effects.

I’ve run various workshops that cover the gamut from one-time hands-on make and take projects, collaborative call and response, or on-going series that involve close personal instruction and up-close detailed interactive demonstration.

All workshops can vary greatly depending on the desired results of the group and their time preferences.

My 2D or 3D art activities are interactive and can involve a live model.
